Loinclothes or belts of fig?

Gen 3:7 the word here is Chagarat (chagowr) which means belts See interlinear

• 1 Kings 2:5 Joab puts blood upon his chagar
• 2 Sam 20:8 a chagar upon Joab’s waist see interlinear

• Does the bible say these men had loincloths upon their waist?

• No it says they had belts just like Adam and Chawah

• Gen 3:10 If they indeed had loincloths why does Adam tell Yah he was afraid because he was naked after having made loincloths?

Why did they make belts?

• To gird up

• What does it mean to gird up?

• Deut 1:41 to put on

• 1 Sam 25:13 to put on

• Why Israelites usually girded up ie. put on belts, prepare their robes, prepared themselves

• Isaiah 3:24 to secure the waist and for beauty
• 1 Kings 18:46 to travel quickly or run

• 2 Kings 4:29 hurry precept

• 2 Kings 3:21 to fight
• Proverbs 31:16-18 to work

Coats of skin or sacrifice offered?

Gen 3:21 Yah made for them Kathanath (kethoneth) and clothed them

• What is a Kathanath?

• Isaiah 22:21 a sign of authority

• Did he literally cloth them or not?

• He did not. He elevated their already existent clothing by giving them holy robes and made an atonement for them  

• The operative word for clothing is Wayalbasham (way·yal·bi·šêm.) see here
• The root word is Labash (click strong’s 3847 at previous link)
• Labash is used figuratively all the time

• See Job 29:14 interlinear same word but with a spiritual meaning
• Psalm 35:26 interlinear clothed in shame

• Isaiah 30:1 woe to those that cover themselves with anything but the spirit of Yahawah
• 61:10 Yah has covered me with the robes… of righteousness

Made for them or offered sacrifice for them?

• The key word in the passage is Wayaish (Wa-ya ‘as) see here

• Click on 6213 to see the root word and usage (root words are important because hebrew constructs other words by adding prefixes, infixes and suffixes to roots)

• Translation says and made but precepts says and shall do. The point being Gen 3:21 can be translated as “And did Yahawah a sacrifice” for Adam and Chawah. Let’s explore the root word Ishah (Asah) to prove that.

• Asah usage in the bible

• The Priestly Precept: Throughout the books of the law, when a priest prepares an animal for a burnt offering, the Hebrew text frequently uses the verb ASAH to mean "offered the sacrifice" (e.g. Leviticus 14:19 interlinear, Numbers 6:11 interlinear).

Conclusion

Adam and Chawah were wise, the serpent used cunning to deceive them. Yahawah made a sacrifice for Adam and Chawah and covered them with priestly robes and the blood of atonement for them instead of killing them for breaking his law. That’s what happened in the garden of Eden.
