The True Origin of the European Part 5

THE NABATAEAN LIE AND THE RECLAMATION OF EDOM

Using the precedent he set for establishing the Edomite Greek Kingdom, Esau established the Nabataean Kingdom to reclaim Mount Seir. Though his historians claim it was the Arab who ruled and built Petra in Edom, the scriptures and archaeology say that it was the Edomite! Let’s prove that.

Doubts Among Edomites
Information on Nabataeans is all conjecture says historian Jane Taylor

“Jane Taylor’s Petra and the Lost Kingdom of the Nabataeans is especially informative about the Nabataeans. Taylor states that nobody really knows when the Nabataeans first set foot in Petra. She adds that it is even more questionable if they were truly Semitic people and that [they] have been mixed up with Arabs of a similar ancient name. Even if some Nabataeans settled in the mountains of Edom around the early sixth-century BC, “this is all conjecture,” Taylor explains.”[27]

  • Their own researcher and author above said that they cannot prove what they’re saying about the Nabataeans.

Historians admit to not knowing exactly when Petra was built while propaganda claims it was built in 100 CE
“
Precisely when cities like Petra and Hegra were constructed is unclear but they were well established by the later 4th century BCE when the wealth of the Nabateans attracted the attention of the Greek general (and future king) Antigonus I (r. 306-301 BCE).”[28]
- According to Malachi 1:1-5 it wasn’t their wealth that attracted Antigonus, it was the fact that the Arabs had become squatters in Esau’s land and they wanted it back.

Historian
Diodorus says the Nabataeans didn’t build houses under punishment by death.
“
Diodorus addresses the wealth of the Nabateans, as well as their customs, in Book XIX of his Histories:[he says]

For the sake of those who do not know, it will be useful to state in some detail the customs of these Arabs, by following which, it is believed, they preserve their liberty. They live in the open air, claiming as native land a wilderness that has neither rivers nor abundant springs from which it is possible for a hostile army to obtain water.

It is their custom neither to plant grain, set out any fruit-bearing tree, use wine, nor construct any house; and if anyone is found acting contrary to this, death is his penalty.”[29]

Q- If the history of the nabataeans is conjecture, they didn’t build houses and no one knows for sure when petra was built, how could the nabataeans have built petra as the historical consensus says? [30], [31]

A- The truth is, they didn’t! It was built by Esau who lived and reigned as a king there for over 1000 years.

The Truth About the Nabataeans

  1. Gen 25:13 they were the children of Nabayath, the first born of Ishmael
  • Isaiah 60:7 Ishmaelites
  1. They were Nomads who neither sow corn, nor plant any fruit tree, nor drink wine, nor build houses[32]
  2. They were squatters in Petra between 539 BC (The end of Babylonian rule) and 169 BC (the beginning of Aretas’ rule).
  • The Nabataeans were nomadic Arabs who invested in Petra's proximity to the incense trade routes by establishing it as a major regional trading hub.[33]
  • Nabataeans established their trading since at least 500 BC in Petra.[34]

  1. They show up in the historical record in 312 BC having already settled in Petra
  1. Little is known about them before 312 BC, when they were unsuccessfully attacked by Demetrius I Poliorcetes, son of Antigonus[35] in their mountain fortress Petra south of the Dead Sea.[36]
  1. the mountain fortress is not Petra but Avdat as this historian[37] proves
  1. They were desert dwellers
  1. Nabataean, member of a people of ancient Arabia whose settlements lay in the borderlands between Syria and Arabia, from the Euphrates River to the Red Sea.[38], [39]
  1. They were Friends of Jonathan of the Maccabees
  1. 1 Macc 9:35 Jonathan sends for help from the Nabataeans.[40]
  1. This happened in 160 BC[41]
  1. 2 Macc 12:10-11 The Arabs attack Judah Maccabeus. Israel had various relationships with Ishmaelites

The Source of Confusion: The Nabataean Kingdom
The source of confusion about the Nabataens is the invention of the Nabataean Kingdom. The real Nabataeans never had a kingdom. They were the descendants of Nabayath, they were nomads and merchants who traded at emporiums in Edom, Syria (i.e. Jordan including Damascus) and Judaea including Gaza.
[42] What Esau called the “Nabataean Kingdom'' was really an Edomite kingdom made up of Edomite controlled Arabian merchant emporiums. He established this “kingdom” as a power grab to regain control over his ancient lucrative trade routes and land of Edom! Let’s prove it.

167-143 BC

The writers of the book of Maccabees wrote of a tyrant of the Arabs,[43] called Aretas ruling the Arabians.

  • Notice he didn’t say they were ruling the Nabathites but the Arabs.

In the English translations of the scriptures the word “Tyrannos” is translated as “king” instead of tyrant why? To obscure the fact that Aretas was not an Arab but an Edomite ruling the Arabs! Let’s examine.

  • 2 Macc 5:8 Aretas translated as king of the Arabians in English but written as Tyrant of the Arabians in Greek

Q-
 Why is this important?

A- A tyrant is an illegitimate ruler and the Maccabees ensure that they wrote that Aretas was a tyrant and not a king. They were ensuring that we knew Aretas was an illegitimate ruler of the Arabs.

  • 2 Macc 1:10 Here the Maccabean writers ensure that they use the word Basileus/Basileos for king because there’s a difference between the two.
  • 2 Macc 4:7-10 Who is jason?
  • 2 Macc 4:23-25 Examining the interlinear we see that tryant is used here deliberately to differentiate between the legitimate and illegitimate ruler

Q-
So then who is Aretas the tyrant that the Maccabean writers wanted us to know about?

A- Let’s look at some clues to find out!

The Nabataean king list

  • Aretas is the first king of the Nabataeans
  • Information on Aretas the first is suspiciously very scarce
  • Let’s have a look at some other artifacts showing Nabataean kings
  • Q- Are these the likenesses of Arabs or Edomites?
  • Governors of the Arabians
  • Herod
  • Was an Edomite and considered only a half Jew by Antigonus second son of Hyrcanus[45],[46]
  • Herod the Edomite and his family called Arabs
  • We see a circle of people calling themselves Arabs to which Herod’s family as well as Syllaeus belonged, linked to the ancient capital in the Negev but also to the Nabataean king, Malchus.[47]
  • Malichus
  • This shows that the Arabians were simply called Nabataeans by the Greeks, however, remember that the Nabathites are friends of the Jews and never represented the entire Arabian rulership but only one tribe.
  • Called governor of the Arabians[48]
  • Was not an Arabian!
  • I believe it certainly is!

SUMMARY

When we consider

  • The Maccabean account of a Tyrant ruling the Arabs
  •  The so-called greek & roman architecture of Petra
  • The greek coins which show the likenesses of the “Nabataean Kings” to be that of Edomites
  • The referral of Herod the Edomite’s family as Arabs
  • The greek tomb of Aretas IV an Edomite being the most famous monument of Petra
  • The mention of Aretas being a cousin of Herod
  • The fact that Esau was ruling the middle east for 799 years (from alexander 323 BC to romulus 476 AD)
  • And finally the practice of Esau to appropriate lands and invent histories

These evidences all point to Aretas I being the Edomite creator of the “Nabataean Kingdom”, an Edomite kingdom posing as an Arab one.

CONCLUSION

What have we learned in these lessons?

  • The so-called European’s true origin or rather homeland is the caves of Mount Seir
  • He went there directly after leaving his father Isaac’s house
  • The real names of his nation are Esau/Edom/Idumaean or Edomite
  • He stole Japheth’s land, culture and identity, renaming it Europe
  • He created the Nabataean Kingdom to get his heritage Mount Seir back
  • Yahawah fulfilled Mal 1:1-5 by still destroying Mount Seir
  • And finally here we will learn that all that is left is the Destruction of his spiritual kingdom
  • Daniel 8:21-25
  • Rev 13:9-10
  • Isaiah 66:16
  • Obadiah 1:1 & 18
